MV Agusta
F4
About :
A Joint Venture between the Italian bike manufacturing unit,
MV Agusta and its Indian partner,
the MV Agusta F4. This 1000cc bike comes in a Completely
Built Unit form riding on a 998cc 4 cylinder petrol engine yielding high power
and torque outputs to the tune of 192.4bhp and 111Nm, respectively. The chassis
comprises of a Chromium Molybdenum alloy steel tubular trellis frame affixed to
an aluminium swingarm. The design of this superbike is not much different from
the original model, F4 1000 crafted by the Italian master designer, Massimo
Tamburini, for it carries a sleek diamond shaped headlight (with a projector
lamp at the middle and white LED lights forming the circumference) nestled
between two light nodes and a visor.
The aerodynamic carbon fibre fairings look menacing and
house the electronic instrument console at its back displaying readings such as
speed limiter, riding mode, fuel reading, throttle sensitivity and a slew of
other functions. The single cushy riding position is suitably inclined for
better grip, and finds a 17 litres chiselled fuel tank in front and a pointed
tail at rear with a four tier exhaust system just beneath it. The 17 inches
wheels at the front and back carry Brembo disc brakes, a robust suspension
system and an ABS system to boot. The superbike can be termed as a fly by wire
machine as it has been bestowed with advanced electronics, an 8 speed ABS, a
traction control system, a clutch less gear changing mechanism, and a rear
wheel lift control among others.
